Tuesday, June 2, 2020
Yarn Spinner 1.2 adds bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements to the overall development experience.
Simple Script Creation
Create new empty Yarn scripts from the Unity Editor, just like C# scripts.
Easy String Table Updating
If you’ve made changes to your scripts after generating your .csv
files for localisation, you can update them with a single click of a button.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
A whole host of smaller, useful changes:
- When receiving options from Yarn Spinner, you now also receive the name of the node that each option would lead to, where applicable.
- Unit tests for the Unity integration have been added.
- The compiler now handles single-character commands (e.g.
<<p>>
) better. That is to say, it doesn’t crash. - And more!
